Parents Healing Children
Parents Healing Children is a supportive and skills-based class that equips parents and caregivers to help children navigate grief and loss. Grounded in the Grief Recovery Method, this class teaches adults how to use active listening and E.E.C.L. (Emotional Experience, Child’s Logic) to better understand and respond to a child’s unique way of processing difficult emotions. Participants will learn how to communicate with empathy, validate big feelings without trying to fix them, and foster emotional resilience in children through connection, safety, and truthful dialogue.
Perfect for parents, foster caregivers, and teachers, this course offers practical tools for supporting children through all forms of loss—from divorce to death to everyday disappointments.
